Our almond butter is made from two all natural ingredients: Unblanched Roasted Mission type Almonds and Sweet Almond Oil. No sugars, palm oil, corn syrup, preservatives, hydrogenated oils, or other stabilizers are added. Our almond butter is naturally easily spreadable. We only source certified steam pasteurized almonds and we make small batches on a daily basis for freshness and attention to quality. Since 1981, East Wind Nut Butters have been made by the members of East Wind Community in the lovely Ozark hills of rural southern Missouri. We engage in direct democracy to make decisions as a group and hold our land, labor, and other resources in common. As equal owners in our business, we take pride in producing the highest quality nut and seed butters and selling them for reasonable prices. All of our products are certified Kosher and gluten-free. Our almond products are processed on a line dedicated to almonds, cashews and sesame seeds. This production line is in a plant that has a separate and self contained production line dedicated to peanuts. We are the manufacturer. When you purchase this product you are directly supporting over seventy people living in an egalitarian, income-sharing community.
